Accessibility Statement
DRAFT — to be reviewed before publication. Last updated: 2026-10-24
We want TutorHabitat to be usable by everyone. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA and EN 301 549 for the web interface. The European Accessibility Act's own requirements are in Annex I of Directive 2019/882; we will claim a presumption of conformity only once a harmonised standard is cited in the Official Journal.
What we do: labels for toolbar buttons (screen readers), interface in eight languages, brand colours chosen with contrast in mind (small text uses the darker green), pen pressure optional. CHECK before publishing: keyboard navigation, visible focus, text resizing — confirm by audit
Known limitations: the freehand board is visual by nature; we provide text tools, formula input and transcripts as alternatives. AUDIT: list results of an accessibility audit before launch
Feedback: CONTACT_EMAIL — we reply within 10 working days.
Note: Directive 2019/882 Art. 4(5) exempts microenterprises providing services (fewer than 10 persons and annual turnover or balance sheet not exceeding EUR 2 million). The Act applies mainly to the subscription sales flow (run by our payment provider); we follow the requirements voluntarily for the whole service. CHECK: our size
